Paramore Team Up With HeadCount to Encourage Young Voters on Summer Tour

72

Paramore are headed out on their U.S. tour this summer, and are bringing a positive, proactive message to their fans. For their upcoming run dates, the rock band has teamed up with nonprit organization HeadCount to encourage their fans to participate in the democratic process.

The band isn’t alone in their alliance with the voter registration organization. They will join the ranks other top acts like Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews Band, David Byrne, Dead & Company and more.

In a statement reported by BroadwayWorld, Paramore singer Hayley Williams struck a positive, community-building note in anticipation the upcoming midterm elections: “We're partnering with HeadCount to give people a chance to register to vote before midterm elections. They'll be at the shows all summer and we'd like to encourage young people coming out to take this chance to make their presence known and their convictions noted.”
