Lil Durk is incubating the new wave of drill rap and next up under his tutelage is Doodie Lo. Melodically relating the realities of street life, Only The Family’s Doodie Lo stands up for his hometown of Kankakee, IL (just outside of Chicago). In his element among his bros and a cadre of models, Doodie Lo shares “Lonzo,” his new video single.
Wielding his raspy voice atop a poignant drill instrumental, Doodie Lo lays out his mission statement on the new single, revealing that his music is a way of life, not just a way to get rich. In the video, Doodie Lo switches from the kitchen, where he supervises his operation, to the garage, where he dances by his coupe with a bevy of beautiful women. Named after the New Orleans Pelicans basketball player and Big Baller Brand representative Lonzo Ball, “Lonzo” follows Doodie Lo’s video for “Time Out,” released in May.
