Omar Kadin has prophesied his plans to collaborate with more artists this year right into existence. On Friday (March 22), Kadin returned with a fresh single to heat up the streets, connecting alongside fellow California native Mozzy for "Run The City," premiering on Billboard.
The Bay Area resident narrates his come-up looking back on the past and seeing how far he's progressed. Kadin's slurry croon proves to be an infectious segue for Mozzy's gritty assist to bring the Gekko-produced tune across the finish line. "This rap shit is way too easy, watch a gangster eat," the Real Talk Entertainment artist confidently spits.
"This song was all about timing, as is with anything in life," Kadir says through email of the track's origin. "One of my close friends told me that Mozzy was ready to collab on a project together. 10 seconds into listening, I knew it was the one to send over to Mozzy. After we both did our parts, I completely fell in love with the record and knew we had to run with this as the single."
