Grand Ole Opry will return to Bonnaroo 2019. The opening night showcase will be hosted by Old Crow Medicine Show on June 13, and includes a versatile lineup of performers highlighting the Opry’s 93-year history.
In addition to hosting, Old Crow Medicine Show will take the stage alongside fellow Opry members Ricky Skaggs and Riders In The Sky. Special guests also include Steve Earle, Morgan Evans, Ashley Monroe, Molly Tuttle, Wendy Moten, the Opry Square Dancers, and Opry announcer Bill Cody.
"The Opry's inaugural trip to Bonnaroo last year was nothing short of amazing," says Sally Williams, senior vp of programming and artist relations for Opry Entertainment Group. "All of us fortunate enough to be part of that performance loved watching some of the world's biggest music fans connect with the Opry, many for the first time. It definitely was one of the highlights of 2018, and when we look at the line-up of artists who have signed on for next month's show, we have no doubt that performance is going to be just as memorable."
