Odell Beckham Jr. Won't Play Unless He Gets New Contract: Report

New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is reportedly prepared to hold out if he and the team are unable to agree on a contract extension, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapaport.

The news comes just one day after Giants owner John Mara told reporters that he's tired answering questions about Beckham's behavior and added that no player on the roster is "untouchable" in a trade. The comments stem from a recent viral video in which Beckham can be seen holding what appears to be a blunt while a woman next to him lines up a white powder substance.

Beckham, 25, is set to enter the final year his deal, and he will make around $8.5 million during the 2018 season as part his fifth-year option. He missed most last year after suffering a fractured ankle just four games into the season, and the Giants struggled as a team going 3-13.

If the two parties are unable to agree upon a contract extension, the Giants could explore trade options and Beckham's longtime friend and fellow LSU Tiger, Jarvis Landry, is already beginning to recruit #13 to Cleveland.
