NOTD & Felix Jaehn Enlist ‘Sports Illustrated’ Cover Girl Camille Kostek For ‘So Close’ Premiere

‘I cannot wait for the world to dance along with me,’ Kostek says.

It's no secret that Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Camille Kostek has been obsessed with "So Close," the latest tune from NOTD featuring Felix Jaehn, Georgia Ku and Captain Cuts. After continuously supporting the track social media — including on her "never not dancing" segment — Kostek finally caught NOTD's attention.

The Swedish duo then realized there was only one thing that had to be done: Kostek had to star in the video. Of course she happily obliged, and now you can watch the result exclusively on Billboard today (June 27).

The video features the model dressed all in white as she dances around a fresh, sunlit room like nobody's watching. She uses a paint brush as a mic, takes selfies and generally looks ecstatic. She then breaks outdoors and dances around the city, not minding the pouring rain one bit. It's pretty much what everyone thinks they look like when they're dancing by themselves in their room.

"I still wish we could go back to where we started/ When you left your T-shirt at my old apartment/ Have you ever wondered if you loved me harder/ Where we'd be," Ku croons on the song. The lyrics are melancholy, but sonically the track is quite the opposite, creating a perfect crying-on-the-dance floor bop.

"So Close" is the the follow-up to NOTD's previous single "Been There Done That," featuring Tove Styrke. And with "So Close" — which has topped the Dance Club Songs and Dance/Mix Show Airplay charts, and hit the Pop Songs radio chart — the Swedish duo are certainly solidifying their melodic pop production skills in the dance world.

“The moment I heard ‘So Close,’ I knew it aligned perfectly with my free-spirit and would be on constant replay,” Kostek tells Billboard. “This music video is my ultimate #NeverNotDancing mood, and I cannot wait for the world to dance along with me.”
