Noah Cyrus released a new song "F–kyounoah" on Thursday (Oct. 31), just in time for Halloween.
Produced by London On Da Track and written after going through a difficult time, the vulnerable track highlights Cyrus's battles with anxiety, self-doubt, and need for assurance through social media.
In the accompanying Halloween-themed video, directed by Symone Ridgell, the singer is in a doctor's office receiving injections in her face before plastic surgery. She then flips the script and puts on her surgeon's scrubs to remove her own heart. While lyrics like "I ain’t no band aid for your heart/ 'Cause I’m the one that’s leaving all your scars" play in the background, a handcuffed Cyrus decides to make a run from the hospital and struggles to escape the arms of a doctor.
"Here ya go world.. ya might hate it. ya might might not. but here’s a lil insight into my brain and headspace," the singer posted on Instagram to announce the video.
"F–kyounoah" is the third single Cyrus has released this year, following "Lonely" and "July."
