Nipsey Hussle's "Victory Lap" Expected To Debut In Top 10 On Billboard 200


Nipsey Hussle dropped f his debut album Victory Lap last week. The project marked a major moment for the rapper. Considering that he’s been in the game for a minute, it’s crazy to think that he just dropped his first studio album within the past week. Regardless, the album became a stand-out immediately with Nip dropping f gems throughout the whole project. Throughout the past week, he’s been doing his media rounds and promoting the project with new videos. It seems that all the hype he built for the project is about to see a major results on the charts.

Billboard reports that Nipsey Hussle’s Victory Lap is on its way to the Billboard 200 top 10. Their industry forecasters say the rapper is looking at 40K units moved within its first week. It’s a big move for Nipsey especially because his partnership with Atlantic records.

The rapper first appearance on Billboard charts was in 2010 with his song “My Life.” That song peaked at number 16 on the Rap Digital Song Sales charts. In addition, Mailbox Money and Crenshaw both reached the top 20 on the Billboard Top R&B and Hip Hop album charts.

Nipsey had a pretty epic build up to the release his album. He kicked f the campaign with the heavy hitting single “Rap N*ggas” and shortly after, connected with Swizz Beats for the celebration  The Marathon seven year anniversary with “Been Down” which he also recently revealed a video for. Most recently, he dropped f the action packed visuals for “Hussle & Motivate” last night. Overall, Nipsey’s killing the game with his latest project and we’re stoked to see what he has up his sleeve for the remainder the year.
