With Kendrick Lamar’s relationship with Nike cemented long ago, the doors have opened for cross collaboration. Top Dawg Entertainment is now in line for a full product line designed exclusively by Nike. The capsule collection will act as a veritable merch table for the record label’s “Championship Tour,” announced in mid-April. The tour which began Yesterday in Vancoucer, will take Kendrick Lamar, SZA, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, SiR and Lance Skiiiwalker on the road for a month and a half.
The “Championship Tour” collection will be made available at pop-up locations on the tour. The product line will just as easily be available for online purchase at TDE’s website. The entire collection is unified by black and red colors pertaining to Kendrick’s “DAMN” cover art, and will be outfitted in a 3M reflective material. Hoodies are priced starting at $85 USD, hats at $35 USD, and long-sleeve shirts at $55 USD. Prices reflect the level interest in Kendrick’s Nike Cortez line sneakers.
