Nicki and fans have reason to celebrate the anniversary. Pink Friday gave Nicki her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart as well as several Grammy nominations, including best rap album, best rap performance and best new artist. The album elevated the Queens rapper to superstar status following a promising mixtape run in the late 00s.
Nicki’s last musical effort came in 2018 with Queen, and fans are patiently waiting for the next installment. In that time, she got married to Kenneth “Zoo” Petty in 2019 and recently gave birth to her first child, a boy, in October.
The Hip Hop superstar made a return with her feature on Mike Will Made It’s “What The Speed Bout?!” alongside Youngboy Never Broke Again. The trio dropped a sci-fi-inspired video directed by Edgar Esteves and Austin McCraken.
