New NCT-Associated Boy Band WayV Set to Debut in China


A brand new boy band by the title of WayV is about to debut later this month in China, and it'll function some members who're already acquainted to followers of Ok-pop entity NCT.

The seven-member boy band, often called WeiShenV (威神V) in Chinese, options NCT's Ten, Lucas, Kun and WinWin, plus three members -- Hendery, Xiao Jun, and Yangyang -- who have been beforehand launched by SM Entertainment’s SMRookies platform.

While related to NCT and its firm, SM Entertainment, WayV’s official Weibo page says that it's managed by Label V.

WayV has but to announce the date of its first launch, however has begun teasing movies of the band on social media since Dec. 30 (31 in Asia). The similar day, SM’s official Twitter account posted a picture of the act and acknowledged, “WayV to make their long-awaited debut in January!
