Offset and 21 Savage connect on the Zaytoven-produced “Hot Spot.”
Over Zay’s booming instrumental, Savage raps about his hustler’s mentality in the street life. “I’m cookin’ up dope in the kitchen / I leave the crumbs for the pigeons / These ni**as be praying and wishin’ / But me, I get up and go get it.”
Meanwhile, Offset recalls days poverty, while reflecting on his newfound glory. “I used to be broke, but ain’t goin’ back / Now we makin’ movies, Cinemax.” He goes on to flex his cash flow. “I focus on money, don’t worry ’bout bitches,” he adds. “‘Cause I’m in love with money, we so attached.”
Zaytoven recently dropped The Note, a documentary about his life and influence. Now, he is prepping his debut album Trap Holizay, which is due May 25.
“It’s just a whole bunch guys I haven’t worked with and a lot guys I have worked with,” he told Rap-Up. “A lot guys who are on songs together have never really worked together before…Trap Holizay] was to really give the Zaytoven flavor with all the artists I love to work with the way I like to put it together.”
The forthcoming album is set to feature Trey Songz, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Pusha T, Ty Dolla $ign, and Jeremih. Additionally, Zaytoven plans on releasing joint projects with Trey, Lecrae, and more.
