Day 02 of New York Comic Con was an eventful. Amidst the long list of panels, screenings, and more, Netflix’s “Daybreak” was exclusively premiered as the cast joined in for a Q&A. The first episode took a lot of in-room fans by surprise – as the premise of the show centers on a post-apocalyptic Glendale California overrun by gangs of jocks, gamers, the 4-H Club, and other fearsome tribes.

Daybreak is described as “part samurai saga, part endearing coming-of-age story, and part Battle Royale.”

Cast members, Matthew Broderick, Colin Ford, Sophie Simnett, Austin Crute, Aly Alyn Lind, Jeante Godlock and Gregory Kasyan – along with executive producers Aron Eli Coleite, Brad Peyton and Jeff Fierson were all in attendance as well.

As for Netflix, the streaming giant is now the world’s leading internet entertainment services – amassing over 151 million paid memberships across 190 countries.
