Motley Crue’s Vince Neil Shares Heartbreaking Photo of Late Daughter: ‘Miss You’

Vince Neil, lead singer of Motley Crue, took to Instagram on Wednesday to post a heartbreaking tribute to his late daughter, Skylar, who died 24 years ago from cancer at age 4.

Neil wrote “Miss you” with an angel emoji for the father-daughter throwback picture of Skylar on his shoulders while she wore a  onesie coverd with peace signs.

Skylar was diagnosed with Wilms’ tumor, a kidney cancer affecting children, according to an article Neil wrote for People. After six operations, chemotherapy and radiation, she died on Aug. 15, 1995.

“This ordeal is something no parent should have to go through,” the then-34-year-old heavy metal singer wrote. His 1995 solo album, Carved in Stone, features “Skylar’s Song,” which he wrote for his daughter before she died.
