A day after revealing the punk-inspired cover art for her upcoming She is Coming EP, Miley Cyrus posted a series of provocative teases for the project early Tuesday morning (May 28). In one brief clip, Cyrus is seen sitting in the middle of a giant pile of fruit, which she loudly slurps and crunches on as the EP's title flashes across the screen along with the hashtag #DontFuckWithFreedom.
A second 8-second clip features similar imagery, with Cyrus lustily chowing on fruit, accompanied by a brief glimpse of a banana getting covered in a glittery goo.
She also posted a brief video in which she appears to strut through a newsroom wearing black pants and a chain mail tank tap, joking, "working hard, but not as hard as I'm working, you know."
On Monday (May 27), Cyrus shared the black-and-white cover of She is Coming, in which she hovers over the camera on a city street while wearing a Sex Pistols Never Mind the Bollocks half shirt.
Last week, Cyrus teased the upcoming EP during her set at the BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend where she previewed three new tracks rumored to be titled "Mother's Daughter," "Cattitude" and "Dream."
"I’m nasty, I’m evil/ Must be somethin' in the water/ Or that I’m my mother’s daughter," Cyrus proclaimed in the chorus of one song, while she name-checked her "cattitude" and name-dropped Nicki Minaj and Cardi B in another: "I love you Nicki, but I listen to Cardi." On a third new song, she sang, "Drugs rule everything around me." Coming is the follow-up to Cyrus' 2017 album Younger Now.
