Megan Thee Stallion Wants Tory Lanez ‘To Go UNDER The Jail’ For Allegedly Shooting Her

Megan Thee Stallion initially refrained from ID’ing Tory Lanez as the alleged gunman in her July 2020 shooting, but after the scenes that have transpired since she pointed the finger at him a month later, her attitude has changed drastically.

In an honest and revealing interview with Rolling Stone — whose July/August 2022 issue she covers — published on Wednesday (June 15), the Houston rapper made no bones about wanting to see Tory face the music for the pain he’s caused her.

“I want him to go to jail,” she said plainly. “I want him to go under the jail.” She added, “‘I feel like you’ve already tried to break me enough. You’ve already shot me. So, why are you dragging it out like this? Like, what else? Have you hated me this much the whole time and I didn’t see it?’”

Tory Lanez allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion in both feet during an argument following a party at Kylie Jenner’s house in the Hollywood Hills. As Megan told CBS’ Gayle King in April, Tory shouted “Dance, bitch!” before firing a gun in her direction after she exited the vehicle. Hospital medical records show Megan was left with bullet fragments in her feet.

Tory — who has been charged with one felony count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and another for carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle — has maintained his innocence while contesting the details of the case and attempting to paint Megan as a scorned ex-lover. (Megan has denied they had a sexual relationship.)

In the most vulnerable portion of her Rolling Stone interview, Megan Thee Stallion admitted she still has nightmares about the shooting and the whole ordeal has taken a toll on her mental health, particularly the hate she receives online from those who refuse to believe her story.

“I see people saying, ‘Damn, I would’ve shot that bitch too,’” she said. “In some kind of way I became the villain. And I don’t know if people don’t take it seriously because I seem strong. I wonder if it’s because of the way I look. Is it because I’m not light enough? Is it that I’m not white enough? Am I not the shape? The height? Because I’m not petite? Do I not seem like I’m worth being treated like a woman?”

She added, “I’m trying every day to get through it and be good. I feel so bad because I don’t feel like anybody’s taking me seriously, but I don’t want them to see me cry. I don’t want them to know that I feel like this, because I don’t want them to feel like, ‘Oh, I got you. I’m breaking you.’”

A prominent figure in the case, DJ Akademiks has been accused of peddling false claims in support of Tory Lanez — including alleging court documents revealed his DNA was nowhere to be found on the gun used to shoot Megan (the DNA results were, in fact, “inconclusive”). But Akademiks could soon be joining Tory in court.

“I think it’s so crazy that people are able to get online or publish anything that is not a 100 percent fact,” Megan said. “That really is messing with my life. How are you able to do it and get away with it? I just learned that you really can’t get away with that, and I’m going to get you. Right now I’m just getting all my stuff together because I’m seeing it. Yeah, you keep doing that. I’m going to spin the block on you.”

Megan also spoke about feeling betrayed by her former friend, Kelsey Harris, who was in the car at the time of the shooting and who met up with Tory Lanez at a hotel two days later.

“I’m like, ‘Kelsey, as my best friend, why would you meet up with the person you saw shoot your best friend?’” she recalled. “She said, ‘Megan, y’all wasn’t answering my calls. My back was against the wall. I didn’t know what to do.’ What the fuck do you mean your back is against the wall? You’re the only person in this situation that would clear this up for me.

“This girl told me out her mouth, ‘He told me, “Oh, thank you for not saying nothing. Now let me invest in your business. Let me do this. Let me do that.’ And all I know was, from that day on, she never said nothing else about the whole situation online.”

Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez’s case is expected to go to trial on September 14, with Tory due in court for a hearing on July 28.
