The founders of the My Mixtapez app have announced their inaugural Most Wanted festival in partnership with AEG at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Dec.13.
Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion, the first female to sign with 300 Entertainment, will headline Most Wanted with performances by Moneybagg Yo, Boosie Badazz, Polo G, NoCap and Black Fortune along with special guests.
My Mixtapez was co-founded by brothers Danny, Ricky and Juan Carlos Dueñas, whose parents had migrated to the U.S. from Mexico. Working together, they have built the brand into a number one hip-hop mixtape app for iPhones and Androids with over 100 million downloads to date.
“When we launched the app in 2011, we were just a bunch of kids who loved hip-hop and wanted an easier way to listen to mixtapes on our phones," Danny Dueñas tells Billboard. "The success we’ve had with it shows that technology knows no race. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from. If you believe in yourself, you can overcome any obstacle.
