Megan Thee Stallion Announces Hype Williams-Directed ‘Fever: Thee Movie’

Hot Girl Summer continues to chug along. On Sunday, Megan Thee Stallion teased plans for a film inspired by her 2019 project with Fever: Thee Movie, which is directed by the legendary Hype Williams (Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Tupac).

Meg didn't put a release date on the flick just yet but captioned the movie's trailer with a cryptic "coming soon." The clip is oozing with inspiration from previous blockbuster hits like Kill Bill or 1974's Foxy Brown. Collaborators Juicy J and Da Baby both make guest appearances in the kung fu-tinged visual.

Following the trailer, the "Big Ole Freak" rapper sparked even more dating rumors when she posted a photo alongside Moneybagg Yo, claiming him to be an official "Hot Boy" now. When asked about the gossip, Moneybagg makes sure to not let any of the tabloid fodder distract him from being an artist.

"Nah, we're just cool," the Memphis native told Billboard in June. "It's nothing against the whole situation. I already know the Internet is going to try to take little stuff and run with it. I don't really try to get too caught up because it will throw me off my focus."
