Megan Thee Stallion's "hot girl summer" has become a signature phrase thanks in part to her Hotties fanbase and a viral meme that has swept the nation. This Friday (Aug. 9), the tagline will finally have a soundtrack when "Hot Girl Summer" releases. Megan announced on Monday (Aug. 5) that the upcoming summer anthem will feature Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign with production from Juicy J.
She also unveiled the fiery "Hot Girl Summer" artwork. "REAL MF HOT GIRL SHIT THE HOT GIRLS TOOK OVER THE MF SUMMER SO IT WAS ONLY RIGHT TO GIVE THE HOTTIES THE OFFICIAL TRACK !!! HOT GIRL SUMMER FT. @nickiminaj and @tydollasign dropping 8/9," Meg wrote.
DJ Envy confirmed the track's features on The Breakfast Club Monday morning (Aug. 5) after hearing the record. "The song is dope, I heard it," Envy hinted while co-host Angela Yee played a snippet making the rounds online. "Juicy J produced it. He scratches on it."
The news of Nicki and Meg joining forces arrives on the heels of the pair connecting for an Instagram Live session just last week (July 28), where the Houston native showered Minaj with love. "Stop playing with Nicki Minaj like she ain't the muthafuckin' G.O.A.T., like she ain't that bitch," Thee Stallion said on the broadcast.
