Megadeth and Opeth to Headline Psycho Las Vegas


Megadeth and Opeth will join Electric Wizards as headliners for the 2019 Psycho Las Vegas festival. Scheduled play out over four stages across the Mandalay Bay property, Psycho Las Vegas returns with performances from Scottish post-rock band Mogwai, alternative rocker group Mark Lanegan Band, Dead Meadow and more.

Between Aug. 16-18 heavy metal, punk and rock fans will be able to see their favorite acts play the newly renovated Mandalay Bay Events Center, the iconic House of Blues Las Vegas, Mandalay Bay Beach featuring a wave pool and lazy river and Rhythm & Riffs which is a Vegas-style lounge in the middle of the casino floor.

The more than 65 acts playing Psycho Las Vegas will also include Andrew W.K., Beach House, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Bad Religion, The Black Angels, Cold Cave, Carcass, Triumph of Death and LA Witch.

The three-day festival will also include the world’s only heavy metal talk show Two Minutes to Late Night. The popular YouTube show will be at the Mandalay Bay where fans can check out the hosts’ bands live on stage.

The Psycho Las Vegas full lineup announcement follows the recent announcement of Psycho Swim, an all-day music filled pool party at Daylight Beach Club at Mandalay Bay on Thursday, Aug. 15 featuring Corrosion of Conformity, Lucifer, Danava, ASG, Primitive Man, Idle Hands, Howling Giant and Thrown Into Exile. Tickets are separate from the three-day festival and on sale now for anyone 21+.
