The debut cruise will depart from Los Angeles with stops in San Diego and Ensenada, Mexico.
Heavy metal band Megadeth have announced new artists for their inaugural Megacruise. The at-sea music experience will feature performances from Megadeth, as well as Anthrax, Queensrÿche, Suicidal Tendencies, Death Angel, Testament, DragonForce, Overkill and Corrosion of Conformity.
The debut cruise will set sail on Oct. 13 out of Los Angles with two full days at sea with performances from Sacred Reich, Toothgrinder, DevilDriver, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Doro, Armored Saint, John 5, Metal Church, Danko Jones, Beasto Blanco, Metalachi and Megadeth tribute band, MecaniX.
The cruise will take place aboard the Norwegian Jewel from Oct. 13-18 with two ports of call in San Diego and Ensenada, Mexico. The cruise will also feature an optional pre-cruise party in Los Angeles with details to be announced.
In addition, official cruise hosts Eddie Trunk (VH1, SiriusXM, AXS), Jose Mangin (SiriusXM) and Lüc Carl (SiriusXM, Ozzy’s Boneyard) will be moderating Q&A’s and activities specially crafted for this voyage.
Megacruise will offer fans a variety of events and activities that put cruisers up front and center with metal icons from fan and artist photo experiences to intimate morning coffee jams, music clinics to fan and artist sporting competitions and more ways to interact with the lineup.
Attendees will have the opportunity to join Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine for optional beer and wine tasting events featuring a new vintage from Mustaine Vineyards and his award-winning À Tout Le Monde beer.
