Meek Mill's legal strategy to get out his 2 to 4-year sentence for probation violations is two front.
First, go after the integrity the cop who arrested and testified against Meek a decade ago. That strategy got a big boost when it was revealed that the ficer was on a list corrupt cops compiled by the Philly DA. For that reason, Meek has been granted a post-conviction relief appeal.
Meek's team is also going after his judge, Genece Brinkley, whose shock probation violation sentence a few months back went against what the DA advised.
Meek's lawyers argue that she was mad at Meek because he wouldn't use the services her friend, talent manager Charlie Mack, and because he wouldn't remake a Boyz II Men song and give her a shout out in it.
In an interview with HotNewHipHop, Meek's lawyer Joe Tacopina broke down a conversation between the judge and Meek's then-girlfriend Nicki Minaj.
Meek's post-conviction relief hearing will be in April.
