Meek Mill just dropped his fifth studio album, Expensive Pain, last month, but it looks like he’s readying even more music. The Dream Chasers boss took to his Instagram on Wednesday (November 24) with a post announcing his next project, which happens to be an NFT mixtape.

The Instagram video shows candid footage of Meek Mill and his team catching flights and hitting up clubs. Jadakiss, Gunna, Justin Combs and more show up in the clip, which features a line of text that reads, “About to get ownership of the music they actually make and create.”

There’s also an unreleased song playing in the background, which finds Meek rapping about his riches and hitting back at his opps. “Loyalty club starts January 1st 2022 nft mixtape,” he wrote in the caption, hinting at a possible release date.

Earlier this month, Meek Mill hinted at his “Loyalty Club” plans by posting a photo of him posted in NYC wearing a Loyalty Club letterman jacket. It’s unclear how an NFT mixtape will work, but the MMG rapper has obviously been paying attention to the cryptocurrency craze.

Recently, Meek shouted out Atlanta rapper Money Man after he made history as the first artist to receive his label advance via Bitcoin. Meek took to his Instagram Story expressing his intent to join the club.

“Ima get my next record deal paid in bit coin behind @moneyman,” he wrote alongside a screenshot of the $1,002,912 Money Man received from his advance.

Meek has been trying to figure out a way to resolve the messy situation he’s going through with his label and it looks like the NFT wave may be the way to go.

“I haven’t get [sic] paid from music and i don’t know how much money labels make off me,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet in October. “I need lawyers asap!!!”

He added, “Ask the record label? how much have you spent on me as a artist? then you ask how much have you made off me as a artist? i’m about to make my record deal public by monday just to let the world see what these people on!!!”
