Drake and Meek Mill’s feud was undoubtedly one the biggest beefs in hip hop this decade. While it may not have worked out in Meek Mill’s favor, the rapper still managed to prosper throughout it all. However, after Meek Mill sentence, the hip hop community as a whole was screaming “Free Meek” including Drizzy himself. Now that he’s out, it looks like a collaboration between the two artists is possible in the future.
After being released after five months behind bars, Meek Mill’s been on a heavy press run. The rapper headed to Hot97 earlier today where he spoke on justice reform, his relationship with Robert Kraft and more but eventually landed on the topic Drake. A few years after their feud, it sounds like Meek Mill is willing to bury the hatchet for the sake dope music.
“It’s Possible. Everything is possible. I don’t have hate towards him, and I don’t believe he has hate towards me. When I was in that situation, I seen in the media, he said ‘free Meek Mill.’ That’s when I was at my down point when I don’t have anything going on with music,” he said. “Before we had a little rap issue. I knew him as a person, and he supported. And that goes for anybody.”
“Drake is the biggest thing in music right now.” He continued.
