He’s definitely a major in the ARMY.

Max Minghella isn't afraid to admit it: he loves BTS. The Handmaid's Tale star brought his ARMY credentials to The Late Late Show on Monday night (April 15), where he explained to James Corden that it was best friend and Maze Runner star Dylan O'Brien who first turned him on to the K-pop superstars. Minghella said seeing the group live was "amazing." Nope, "astonishing… I don't know how they do it. They are amazing performers," he said.

Minghella described going to see BTS with O'Brien, and, worried that they'd be mobbed due to O'Brien's teen heartthrob status, explained why they both wore elaborate costumes that included animal ear headbands and rave-worthy surgical masks. The actor-turned-director was on the show to promote his debut behind the camera, the just-released music drama Teen Spirit. But what he really wanted to prove to Corden was his deep, deep BTS knowledge.
