Master P says his brother, C-Murder, who is currently doing life in prison for murder, is on a hunger strike.

"Free Corey Miller! Thanks to all the fans that’s been praying for my brother," P wrote on Instagram. "He’s on a hunger strike in Angola. He’s been locked up for a crime he didn’t commit. Somebody has confessed and they even have footage, that they don’t want to put in the case," he wrote in the caption.

P says there is evidence to prove that C-Murder didn't kill the teenager he's accused murdering, Steve Thomas. C-Murder was convicted for the 2002 murder the 16-year-old  inside a Jefferson Parish nightclub. He was sentenced to life in prison in 2009.

On Jan. 30, C-Murder announced his hunger strike as a way protesting the conditions in Angola Prison. Per AllHipHop, the rapper claimed his Constitutional rights are "regularly violated" and that physical abuse has been a regular issue for years.

"I am now on a hunger strike to fight these injustices against my peers and against myself," C-Murder told AllHipHop.com. "Only in Angola can a Warden be arrested for rape and continue to serve as an ficer in this Louisiana Penal System. This Warden has an abundant amount racism and physical harm complaints against him from other inmates. We need an investigation now."
