Marshmello Has Reason to Be Even ‘Happier’ Atop Dance/Electronic Producers Chart

The DJ reigns for a 20th week. Plus, Steve Mac continues atop Dance/Electronic Songwriters.

Marshmello rules Billboard's Dance/Electronic Producers chart for a 20th total week, powered by a pair of entries on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs list (dated Oct. 26).

His smash "Happier," with Bastille, leads Hot Dance/Electronic Songs for a record-extending 57th week, while "Rescue Me," featuring A Day to Remember, stands at No. 14.

Marshmello co-wrote "Happier" (with Steve Mac and Dan Smith) and "Rescue Me" (with Jeremy McKinnon and Andrew Wade) and concurrently places at No. 2 on the Dance/Electronic Songwriters chart, after previously leading for five weeks.

Mac rules the Songwriters ranking for a 17th week, thanks to his credits on "Happier" and Jax Jones and Bebe Rexha's "Harder."

The weekly Dance/Electronic Songwriters and Dance/Electronic Producers charts are based on total points accrued by a songwriter and producer, respectively, for each attributed song that appears on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart; As with Billboard's yearly recaps, multiple writers or producers split points for each song equally (and the dividing of points will lead to occasional ties on rankings).

Notably, Marshmello is the only act to lead the Dance/Electronic Producers chart, as he's held the No. 1 spot for all 20 weeks of the tally's existence, dating to its June 15 launch.
