Mandy Patinkin Sings Shawn Mendes' 'Stitches' in Yiddish: Watch

Fans are getting their Shawn Mendes fix as he finds himself in the middle a week-long residency on The Late Late Show With James Corden, dubbed #LateLateShawn. It's been a busy week for Mendes, between debuting at the top spot on this week's Billboard 200 Chart with his self-titled album and taking a drive around LA with host James Corden in the latest segment Carpool Karaoke, Mendes was back on the couch on Corden's June 5th show.

Joining the 19-year-old singer on the couch was Mandy Pantinkin, who was questioned by Corden as to whether he knew Mendes' music. Pantinkin defended himself by asserting that he is a Mendes “aficionado” before jokingly comparing Mendes to Irving Berlin in that like Berlin, “Shawn writes his songs first in Yiddish and then in English.”

Not surprisingly, Corden then puts Patinkin on the spot by asking what Mendes' songs sound like in Yiddish. Yes, a “Stitches” cover in Yiddish ensues.
