Mana Talks Premio Lo Nuestro 2019 Performance & Venezuela Live Aid Concert: Watch

Mexican rockers Maná are set to carry out at Premio Lo Nuestro 2019, and through their rehearsals, the band stopped by Billboard’s station to debate their participation within the annual ceremony, which airs Thursday evening (Feb. 21) at 7 p.m. ET on Univision.

"We are right here taking part in Premio Lo Nuestro 2019 to carry out a medley to recollect the historical past of Maná," says drummer Alex Gonzalez.

For the band, who’ve been collectively for greater than 30 years, it’s tough to resolve which songs are going to be a part of the medley. "Choosing Maná songs for a medley is sophisticated as a result of now we have so many," says frontman Fher Olvera. "We're going to play songs that we haven’t performed on tv in a very long time."

After Premio Lo Nuestro, Maná will carry out on the Venezuela Live Aid live performance. “Alejandro Sanz invited us and we’re all the time lively with humanitarian causes,” says Olvera. “We should make clear that Venezuela is free and sovereign to decide on the president they need.”
