Mac Miller's Grandmother Gives Powerful Speech During Hometown Vigil: Watch


Mac Miller was mourned by his own hometown on Tuesday (Sept. 11), as friends, family and supporters assembled in Pittsburgh, providing emotional speeches about the rapper, such as Miller's grandma Marcia Weiss.

Weiss thanked the numerous lovers who attended the vigil throughout her heartfelt speech in Frick Park, that was picked as the vigil place because of its relevance to Miller's life and music profession: His 2011 debut album is named after the park Blue Slide Park and situated two blocks from his high school.

Mac passed away at the young age 26 on Sept. 7. His body was found at his house after what was allegedly an overdose, however, his origin death has not yet been ficially declared.
