Mac Miller Delivers His Funky New Single 'What's the Use,' Announces Swimming Tour

Since the unveiling his new single "Self-Care," Mac Miller has been gearing up for his latest fering, Swimming. Set to drop early next month, the Pittsburgh MC gifted fans not only a new record, but also a 26-city tour announcement on Monday (July 23).

For the project's second single, "What's the Use," Miller buoyantly flows over the funk-tinged record. "When I had nothing, shit it wasn't so funny/ Made a promise to the homies nobody go hungry/ Look how far we came, still they throwin' dirt on my name/ But it never worried my brain," Miller dishes out.

Despite his numerous setbacks in recent months, including a muddy fallout with ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande, Miller is hoping to bury his controversy with his upcoming album and tour. After liberating "What's the Use," Miller announced his 26-city jaunt titled The Swimming Tour. Joining Miller on the multi-city trek will be Thundercat and Dreamville star J.I.D. The tour will begin Oct. 27 in San Francisco and will later touch down in big markets such as New York, Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago and more.

Pre-sale and premium tickets will go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time here. General tickets will be available Friday at 10 a.m. Live Nation.
