Lykke Li has taken a bold new direction with her just-released album, So Sad So Sexy, and she gave a live rendition her trap inspirations during a steamy performance "Dead End" on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday night (June 7).
The Swedish singer recruited a group gospel singers to help raise the electronic pop tune to heavenly heights. With Li's gelled-down hair and an ultra-sleek black nylon coat, the church element didn't take away from the song's sultry essence as the performers filled the stage under the glow blaring red flood lights.
So Sad So Sexy, Li's fourth studio album, was released Friday (June 8). She begins her North American tour this fall.
