Lupita Nyong'o & "Black Panther" Co-Star Letitia Wright Share Backseat Freestyle

Today marks the ficial North American release  Black Panther and two the films leading actresses are just as excited as many fans are. Lupita Nyong’o posted a video her and co-star Letitia Wright posted up in the backseat a car laying down a freestyle on a beat. Needless to say, the two stars rap about their Marvel film and the world  Wakanda.

“The Black Panther lives… and so does Troublemaker! Also introducing, MC Underbite (@LetitiaWright), best freestyler in Wakanda,” Lupita captioned the video, where she lays down a verse saying, “Back on the scene, Marvel baby, stay in the green.” Watch below.

Lupita recently chatted with Allure magazine about working on set with director Ryan Coogler. “It was just such an inspirational experience because so much thought was put into this film,” she said. “And every single aspect it was rich and beautiful and just arresting, actually. To see this aspirational African world that actually becomes an example for the whole wide world was spellbinding. We were all very much aware that we were in something extremely special.”

The film has sparked many celebrities to give back by taking deserving youth to screenings the movie. We posted on T.I. who gave away hundreds tickets, TDE’s Anothy Tiffith who took busloads children to screenings and most recently Serena Williams who treated young black women from Black Girls CODE to a private screening.
