North Carolina native Luke Combs is up for two trophies at the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards: male artist of the year and new male artist of the year. Naturally, one of 2018's most impressive country breakouts performed what's currently one of the biggest songs in country music.
"Beautiful Crazy" was Combs' choice for his turn on the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday night (April 7). The sentimental ballad is currently leading Billboard's Country Airplay chart. With Combs delivering a powerful vocal showing, the massive radio hit inspired plenty to light up the room by raising their cell phone flashlight in the air.
"Beautiful Crazy" is the latest of several hit singles for Combs since the release of his 2017 debut album This One's for You.
This was only the first of Combs' two performances for the awards show. He's also set to join Brooks & Dunn for a special collaboration later in the evening.
