Louis Bell Rules Hot 100 Producers Chart For Fifth Week

Plus, Marshmello re-enters at No. 8.

Louis Bell continues his hot streak on Billboard’s Hot 100 Producers chart, as he logs his fifth consecutive week at No. 1 (on the chart dated Aug. 3), powered by five producing credits on the Billboard Hot 100.

Post Malone’s “Goodbyes,” featuring Young Thug, which Bell co-produced with Brian Dong Lee, leads the pack at No. 7, followed by Malone and Swae Lee’s “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse)” (co-produced with Carter Lang) at No. 9, Malone’s “Wow.” (co-produced with Frank Dukes) at No. 18, Halsey’s “Without Me” at No. 22 and 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Easier” (co-produced with Andrew Watt and Charlie Puth) at No. 64.

Bell concurrently stands at No. 3 on the Hot 100 Songwriters chart, thanks to co-songwriting credits on all “Goodbyes,” “Sunflower,” “Wow.” and “Without Me,” in addition to Jonas Brothers’ “Sucker” at No. 8.

The weekly Hot 100 Songwriters and Hot 100 Producers charts are based on total points accrued by a songwriter and producer, respectively, for each attributed song that appears on the Hot 100; plus, genre-based songwriter and producer charts follow the same methodology based on corresponding "Hot"-named genre charts. As with Billboard's yearly recaps, multiple writers or producers split points for each song equally (and the dividing of points will lead to occasional ties on rankings).

Elsewhere on the Hot 100 Producers chart, Marshmello re-enters at No. 8 thanks to a pair of entries on the Hot 100 in which he was the sole producer: “Happier,” with Bastille, leads at No. 27, followed by “One Thing Right,” with Kane Brown at No. 60.
