On Monday (March 25), GLAAD announced that hip-hop sensation Lizzo will be performing and stars like Hayley Kiyoko, Janet Mock, Lena Waithe and more will present at this year’s 30th annual GLAAD Media Awards.
According to a press release from the organization, Lizzo will open the Los Angeles award ceremony with her self-love anthem “Juice.”
Following her performance, a number of renowned entertainers will take to the stage as presenters and special guests, including Kiyoko, Mock, Waithe, Jake Borelli, Barbara Corcoran, Erika Jayne, Alex Landi, Oli Munn, Adam Rippon, and Meghan Trainor.
At the ceremony, actor Sean Hayes will be honored with the Stephen F. Kolzak award for his continued work in promoting and forwarding LGBTQ culture, while Beyoncé and Jay-Z are slated to receive this year’s vanguard award for their continued work as allies for the LGBTQ community.
The Los Angeles ceremony for the GLAAD Media Awards will take place Thursday, March 28 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
