As if Ed Sheeran's No. 6 Collaborations Project wasn't already overstuffed with guests, the singer released two remixes of the album track "Take Me Back to London" on Friday morning (Aug. 23). The remakes add a few extra voices into the mix, as well as a video for the booming Sir Spyro remix of the track that perfectly captures the collection's "spirit of friendship and collaboration," according to a release.
The first remix adds hard-hitting verses from UK rappers Jaykae and Aitch to the song that already features a fierce run from Brit Award-winning UK grime star Stormzy. The video directed by KC Locke was shot in Manchester, Birmingham and London and it opens with images of Sheeran and Stormzy ripping up the countryside in a luxury SUV while wearing matching tracksuits and getting measured for bespoke suits.
They're soon joined by Jaykae and Aitch to watch some motorcycle burnouts and along the way there is plenty of quintessentially British activity, including a spot of tea, late night post-pub grubbing and copious pints chugged.
"London" appears on the hit album that features 22 collaborations with everyone from Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and Cardi B to Camila Cabello, Chance the Rapper, Meek Mill and many more. Sheeran is slated to wind down his record-breaking Divide Tour this weekend with homecoming shows at Chantry Park in Ipswich, England.
