Queens, NY – Lil Uzi Vert’s The Pink Tape is becoming more of a reality with each passing day. On Thursday (October 28), Lil Uzi Vert teased his upcoming single “Demon High” and gave fans at Rolling Loud NYC a preview of what’s to come off the highly-anticipated project.

“Demon High” was released on Friday (October 29) and features Lil Uzi Vert rapping about a troubled relationship over a rock-inspired sound. If that song wasn’t enough, the new material Uzi played at Rolling Loud NYC took expectations for The Pink Tape to a new level.

Baby Pluto started his electrifying set running on stage as one of the songs off The Pink Tape echoed through Citi Field in Queens, New York. Another unreleased song followed the first one and fans began to catch on that Uzi was performing portions of The Pink Tape live for the first time.

“Oh so y’all want to keep raging,” Uzi asked the rabid New York City crowd before going into the final preview of The Pink Tape.

Lil Uzi Vert may have an exciting project on his hands, given the way fans erupted after hearing all the new music on Thursday night. In August, Uzi told HipHopDX he is being more experimental on The Pink Tape than on Eternal Atake.

“Last time I dropped an album, it did really well,” Uzi said. “It was actually my highest-selling album, but it was experimental on the mixing part, not the actual music, so this time I went experimental with the music and traditional on the mixing.”

The Philly native initially said fans would get The Pink Tape around Halloween weekend, but he doubled back on his earlier claims when a fan asked if the project would arrive on time.

“No, it’s not,” Uzi told the fan in a clip shared to social media last week. “Then it drops next week, and then I gotta hear it from, well, not from you but from 100,00 people on the internet saying, ‘It sucks!’ So you gotta let me take my time! I’m taking my time so it won’t suck.”
