Lil Peep's Unreleased Marshmello Collaboration Dropping This Friday

Following the untimely death Lil Peep, there’s been a handful posthumous ferings his team has dropped f. His mother has previously stated that there’ll be more music from the late rapper to release in the coming months. However, it looks like we’ll be receiving some unreleased music from Peep later this week.

EDM producer Marshmello hit Twitter over the weekend to reveal that his collaboration with Lil Peep will be dropping this Friday. “Marshmello x @Lilpeep this Friday,” he wrote on Twitter. A fan later noted that a lot other artists decided against releasing their collaborations with Lil Peep because they felt it wouldn’t be right. However, the release their collaboration seems to come at the request Lil Peep’s mother.

“I didn’t plan on releasing the song until peeps mom reached out and told me she wanted her sons music to come out…what am I supposed to do?” he tweeted.

Lil Peep’s mother has been promising fans that her son’s legacy will live on past his death. Back in December, she helped put together the posthumous video for his single “Save That Shit,” with a message from her at the beginning the video. His team has also previously stated that there’ll be more music from Peep dropping in the future.

Lil Peep’s producer, Smokeasac, previously revealed that Lil Peep had already finished recording Come Over When You’re Sober II prior to his death. There’s yet to be any word on when we could expect his posthumous album to arrive but Smokeasac did confirm he still has a lot unreleased music from Peep in the cut.
