LeBron James Introduces Ken Griffey Jr. Inspired Nike LeBron 15s

Nike's #LeBronWatch Program continued last night in Cleveland as LeBron James paid tribute to one the most popular athletes all-time, Ken Griffey Jr.

LeBron took the court against the Toronto Raptors in a special black and teal version the Nike LeBron 15, inspired by the "Fresh Water" colorway Griffey's Nike Air Griffey Max 1. The Seattle Mariners themed LeBron 15s include a combination the Swingman and Dunkman logos, as well as "1989" which is the year The Kid made his MLB debut. In fact, yesterday, April 3, marked the 29th anniversary Griffey's first game with the Mariners.

Like all the kicks that have released Nike's #LeBronWatch Program, the limited edition "Griffey" LeBron 15s were made available raffle on the Nike SNKRS app during last night's game for $200. Select Foot Locker locations will also release the kicks, as well as some other #LeBronWatch sneakers, on Saturday, April 7.
