Lauren London honored Nipsey Hussle on Sunday (June 16) on what would have been her late love's first Father's Day with their child. "One of the reasons I fell in Love with You… Your Fatherhood," she wrote alongside a touching picture of Hussle (born Ermias Joseph Asghedom) looking at the couple's child, Kross Ermias Asghedom.
Hussle's efforts to give back to the Los Angeles community that raised him will be honored at the upcoming 2019 BET Awards, where he will be noticed for his humanitarian efforts. "As a prolific artist and leader, Nipsey Hussle was zealous about driving change for the betterment of his community, empowering and employing those in need and being an influential and highly respected leader. His passing was a tremendous loss to the entertainment industry and to the culture," said Connie Orlando, executive vice-president, head of programming at BET of the honor that will be handed out on June 23 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Nipsey was killed on March 31, when he was gunned down outside his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles.
