Labrinth caps off his insanely busy 2019 with the release of Imagination & the Misfit Kid, his first solo album since 2012's Electronic Earth. The 15-track project hit streaming services on Friday (Nov. 22) and features appearances from his LSD partner Sia, as well as Zendaya.
"I'm here to make music, and a lot of it," Labrinth relayed in a statement regarding the daring LP. "This album is the beginning of the madness. You might be sick of me after this, but I'm going in. It's time." The project was recorded traveling between NYC and his hometown of London.
This year alone, the 30-year-old notched a Grammy nomination for his work on The Lion King's soundtrack, co-produced "God Is" from Kanye West's Jesus Is King, scored all of the music in HBO's Euphoria, and released a joint project with Sia and Diplo as part of their LSD supergroup.
