The skies may be gray, my dear, but there is always a ray love on the horizon, especially when you take a little LSD. By that, we mean the power-pop trio Labrinth, Sia and Diplo formed earlier this year. We aren't out here suggesting you do illegal things.
All you need is love and the cool dub-inspired dance pop "Thunderclouds." There's a hint '50s doo-wop in its loose-hipped rhythm and upstroke guitar, too. Sia is massive on the mic, and Labrinth is husky and cool. Diplo pumps the beat with brassy horns for extra oomph.
"Thunderclouds," out today (Aug. 9) is the third original single from LSD, following "Genius" and "Audio." It's a steady song from start to finish that catches a few vibes as it slithers down the summer street.
Let "Thunderclouds" cheer up your rainy day below.
