The streaming platform-publication unleashed the menacing freestyle on Monday (December 21) and Von’s vivid storytelling was put on display once again regarding his rugged Chi-Town upbringing throughout the 70-second speed burst.
“And when we find them we gone stretch them/Heard he looking for his match, he done met him/Let’s talk bodies, I got several/They stopped me at the airport cause I keep that metal,” he aggressively punctures the gloomy production.
In one of his final interviews, Von reflected on what going to jail at a young age taught him.
“I got in trouble a lot, so I had to sit down in jail,” he said. “That made me learn to do everything on my own because I couldn’t depend on anybody but myself. Growing up, you learn from your dad or from wherever, you know? I learned a lot of shit in jail.”
Lil Durk, Von’s mentor, made his return to Instagram on Sunday (December 20) paying homage to the fallen Chicago rapper with the release of his “Backdoor” single, which finds Durk rocking Von’s signature O’Block chain in the track’s visual. He also shared text messages between himself and the late Only The Family artist.
