Kim Petras Summons Elvira For Horror-Themed Mixtape 'Turn Off the Light, Vol. 1'

Kim Petras is giving us spooky realness together with her latest mixtape.

The rising pop queen shocked followers with the discharge of Turn Off the Light, Vol. 1 yesterday (Sept. 30), simply in time to play all via the spookiest month of the 12 months. An eight-track mixtape of dark-disco boogies impressed by her love of horror films, Petras drips some blood and provides some moody, night-time synths onto her common model of pop perfection.

The singer hinted at a goth-y October with a sequence of terrifying, baby-doll horror glamour photographs uploaded on Instagram over the previous couple of weeks, full with glassy, bloodshot eyes and blood streaming down her mouth.

She’s having enjoyable with it, dropping goth-pop jams and instrumental breaks with titles like “TRANSylvania” and “Boo! Bitch!” But the gem right here is “Turn Off the Light,” a scary come-on with a spoken-word interlude from the patron saint of campy horror films herself, Elvira.

Petras is continuous her North American tour in help of Troye Sivan's Bloom tour.
