Multi-talented British singer Kianja returns to our pages with a brand new record titled “There’s Nothing More” which is her 3rd single released this year and serves as a precursor to her upcoming EP Glory. The heartfelt song touches on a relationship gone cold and unfortunately can’t be restored. The soul-pop song is built on a foundation of lush guitars that build into a crescendo in the chorus as Kianja delivers an emotion-filled performance. Kianja says the song is something she has been working on for many years, she first wrote it at the age of 14 but it eventually morphed into the current state we hear now. Once again she teamed up with co-writer Dan Smith (Bastille) and producer by Mark Crew and Dan Priddy (Rag’n’Bone Man, James Arthur).

“There’s Nothing More” will feature alongside Kianja’s other singles “I Can’t Make You Love Me” and “A Just Love” on her forthcoming EP ‘Glory’. Glory will be released  Best Laid Plans Records who brought you Rag’n’Bone Man and Rationale.

Born and raised in north-east London, Kianja moved to Durban, South Africa, as a teenager. There she experienced a transition from the gritty urban inner-city to a totally different way of life, moving back to London again in recent years. “Moving to South Africa gave me a shift in perspective. education is a focal point there and I went to two solid schools. I got a music scholarship for a private school. I’ve experienced two very different worlds, which I feel feeds into my creativity”
