Although it is unclear what occurred to Barnett in Mexico, he was there apparently on vacation and posted a photograph only a day earlier than he died carrying a poncho that he calls a “sweater” and joking: “been accused of appropriation a number of instances. In my head I simply gave a woman some cash so I ain’t chilly. Either approach. Swag heavy. Mixtape comin.”

Barnett’s dying comes on the finish of an enormous 12 months for him. The present he co-created, Rel, was picked up by Fox and has been airing since September, getting some buzz for being loosely based mostly on the lifetime of Lil Rel Howery, who has been getting some recognition after his position in Get Out.
