Kelsea Ballerini Shuts Down Body Shamer After Victoria's Secret Fashion Show: 'Skinny Is Not Always the Goal'


Following Kelsea Ballerini's electrical efficiency on the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Thursday night time in New York City, the nation singer shot again at a web based troll who hit up her Instagram with a body-shaming remark.

At the VS present, Ballerini shined in a shimmery golden gown alongside The Chainsmokers, as they carried out their catchy collaboration "The Feeling." However, her dazzling efficiency didn’t cease a commenter who felt compelled to induce the singer to "lose some weight."

"Hi troll. hear. initially, I'm not a mannequin I'm a singer," she wrote in an Instagram remark. "Second of all, I'm not responding to this to offer you consideration since you don't deserve that, I'm writing as a result of I’m a wholesome, regular chick which I satisfaction myself on and work had for and wish different younger women to see that and know that 'skinny' will not be all the time the aim."

She concluded by saying that fat-shaming feedback are unacceptable and that she needs to be allowed to eat no matter she needs: "And so that you can suppose it's okay to touch upon my weight or dimension is disgusting. I'm going to get a burger now. Bye."

The 25-year-old nation star posted a screenshot of a person's "lose some weight" remark to her Instagram web page, including hilarious SpongeBob GIFs and one which appropriately reads: "no matter, I need fries."
