Ahead a hometown benefit concert Kehlani is hosting for her ailing niece, out–town supporters on Twitter are fering to buy tickets on behalf fans in the area.

Mere days after announcing a break from touring, the “Honey” singer tweeted details about the benefit on Monday (Aug. 6). Proceeds from the event, which is set to take place in Berkeley's UC Theatre on Aug. 13, will go toward chemotherapy for her two-year-old niece Nova, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) this past January.

Now, Kehlani supporters are fering to scoop up tickets for the Aug. 13 show, fittingly dubbed Tsunovi Gang, and donate them to passionate Kehlani fans who may not have the funds for a ticket at cost.

Kehlani responded graciously to the daisy chain altruism towards Nova and her fanbase. “You all have me in tears,” she tweeted Wednesday night (Aug. 8). “in a world where we are ten clueless as to whether true compassion really exists… you are leading by example. i love you so much. thank you everyone who’s buying tickets for a fan who can’t. that is so so so so special. Nova’s family thanks you.”

The magnanimity appears to have spread to the big leagues, too. "One my musical heroes wants to buy 100 tickets to donate for the benefit concert,” Kehlani tweeted this morning (Aug. 9).

Bay Area talents Rexx Life Raj, Daghe and 1-O.A.K., along with nascent Chicago rapper Jean Deaux and an as–now unconfirmed guest performer, are tagging along for the Tsunovi Gang festivities.
