Kanye West’s relationship with Adidas just got even icier as he’s taken shots at the apparel giant once again.

On Tuesday (August 2), the Chicago native voiced his displeasure with Yeezy Day, a national holiday for fans of Kanye’s sneaker line, in an Instagram DM exchange with Twitter user @ChaseSeesGhosts. He claims he never gave Adidas approval to launch Yeezy Day.

“Adidas made up the Yeezy Day idea without my approval,” Kanye began his response, “then went and brought back older styles without my approval picked colors and named them without my approval went and hired people that worked for me without my approval stole my colorways without my approval stole my styles and material approached without my approval and hired a GM of Yeezy without my approval.”

Kanye went on to call out Adidas for allegedly attempting to bully Gap when he wanted to design “casual shoes” for the Yeezy Gap collection.

He also rehashed his claims that Adidas ripped off his Yeezy slides design and alleged that the Adidas general manager lied to his face when it came to production capabilities. Kanye claimed that Yeezy makes up for 68 percent of Adidas’ online sales.

For those unfamilair, Yeezy Day annually gives fans the opportunity to purchase highly-sought-after Yeezy sneakers that previously sold out and are re-released every hour on the Confirmed app and Yeezy Supply website.

Popular sneakers making their return include the rare Yeezy 350 V1 “Turtle Dove” colorway and an array of Yeezy Boost 700s, Foam Runners, Yeezy 350 V2’s and more.

Back in June, Kanye West blasted Adidas for allegedly copying his Yeezy slides design. He sniped the Adidas CEO and showed the similarities between the Adilette 22 design and his Yeezy slides.

“THIS IS YE driving down the same street Kobe passed on,” Kanye wrote on Instagram. “Maybe I feel that Mamba spirit right now To Kasper I’m not standing for this blatant copying no more To all sneaker culture To every ball player rapper or even if you work at the store This is for everyone who wants to express themselves but feel they can’t cause they’ll loose their contract or be called crazy Bravery is not being afraid Bravery is overcoming your fear for your truth.”

“This Ye with the blue paint on my face These shoes represent the disrespect that people in power have to the talent This shoe is a fake Yeezy made by adidas themselves I’m not talking to DC about this either Kasper come talk to me Happy Monday.”

Kanye has been in business with Adidas since 2015.

In other Kanye news, Chance The Rapper recently opened up about the viral video of Ye screaming at him during recording sessions for Donda.

In an interview with The Morning Hustle, Chance expressed sympathy for his fellow Chicagoan who was acting erratically at the time, prompting concerns over his mental health.

“It’s a clip of a larger moment, like no one’s ever gonna get the full story of what’s going on,” he explained. “And yeah, people do take it and run with it, ’cause I saw some people put, like, fake captions under the video to make it look like he was talking about my music or something like that. But in all honesty, this is real life. I have real friends and they go through real problems.”

Chance The Rapper also mentioned he flew to Wyoming to simply “check on his friend” because he was genuinely worried about him.
